Thank you to all who attended the second Community Open House for Designing Shorewood! On October 19th, participants gathered to review and provide feedback on preliminary plan recommendations. Residents provided input in the following ways:
- commenting on land use recommendations and opportunities for the five planning subareas
- providing suggestions for amenities and improvements related to existing parks and trials
- voting in a live polling exercise to prioritize proposed programs and policies
- working in small groups to plan for the future of the western growth area.
Plan drafting is now underway, fueled and informed by the community input received thus far. On behalf of the planning team, we thank for your participation in this process! Stay tuned for updates on how you can review the draft plan and participate in the plan adoption process.
